I discovered Laura Berman Fortgang when I first trained as a coach. Immediately drawn to her style and approach, I’ve used Laura’s various books and workbooks over the years in my reflections and when navigating my own life. When Laura started to offer her Now What?® authorised facilitator training over Zoom, I signed up.
In many ways this coaching programme is the ultimate ‘get ready’ preparation if you’re considering a significant change in your work life. It will help you explore new possibilities, test ideas and work out what’s next for you.
It embraces Laura’s philosophy of it’s not what you do that brings career satisfaction, it’s who you get to be while you’re doing it.
My guess is that the most surprising part of what you are about to discover is that meaning and purpose are right under your nose. Purpose is not something you invent, or force, or manipulate to sound good. It is something you come to recognize. It will simply require a refocusing of something that is already there. Having purpose in your life is about making the most of what comes naturally to you. Laura Berman Fortgang, from her book “NOW WHAT?® 90 Days to a New Life Direction”
Together, we work with the 12 chapters of Laura’s book as part of a structured, fixed price programme, over 3 – 6 months with a defined start and end point.
The first half of the programme helps you explore and discover your new direction and the second half prepares the ground and gets you taking actions towards it.

What clients say
Here’s what one client says about her experience. A talented, creative professional within the film industry, she was considering her options for the next phase of her life.
I completed the Now What? Coaching programme. I would highly recommend the programme and Jane. I really liked Laura Berman Fortgang’s philosophy, and started the book on my own some years previously. I found that I got a little stuck in trying to observe myself and this time around I looked for a coach to help me. I think in the long run, it saves time and money to do this. I have a much clearer idea of what my values and needs are and discovered things about myself that I could not do alone. You may already have an idea of what you might like to do and this experience can either help you discover that you were mistaken or reassure you that you are on the right track and then support you every step of the way in discovering your ‘it’. It’s a great help to uncover what is right for you and that can give you the confidence to proceed with the change. Jane is a calm, guiding light throughout, who also introduced me to topics that were not part of the programme that I found very valuable. She is great at offering up different resources to help you along the way. She was always available by email in-between sessions which was very helpful. I highly recommend her.
